In 2009, when YouTube was the only online video platform and Food Network was on the rise, I noticed that there were no young people hosting culinary shows on either. My love for Italy, performance and cooking fueled my drive to create a web series for our generation. My goal has never changed; to help everyone get into the kitchen with confidence in order to take food and diet back into our own hands (and occasionally throw a killer dinner party).
Between then and now you’ve shown me an enormous amount of support, Thank you! It’s that support has enabled me to continually deliver shows. “Struggle Meals”, my latest offering produced by Tastemade, has been the most effective megaphone yet, I really think that’s because we’re in the midst of the changing of the guard from old world TV to interactive, social TV. Again, thank you for all the comments, shares, likes, subscribes and questions. Highlights over the past ten years include: Every single time one of you stops me on the street, airport or subway car - it makes my day, please don’t stop or hesitate to throw a high-five! Also; 3x New York Emmy® Awards, a personal invitation to The White House from First Lady Michelle Obama to raise awareness for her “Let’s Move” initiative, and cooking for Novak Djokovic during the 2016 U.S. Open Championship. I’m not going to stop, but I need your continued help in making this grow further. Here’s to the next decade!
